Fakhar Zaman is a Pakistani International Cricketer who plays for Lahore Qalanders Franchise in PSL. Fakhar is known for his fearless batting and power-hitting.
He is the only Pakistani cricketer to score an ODI double-century. Fakhar became famous after scoring a century against India in the 2017 Campion Trophy Final.
Fakhar Zaman was born on April 10, 1990, in a Pashtun family in Mardan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pakistan. His father, Mohammad Zaman, is a farmer. At the age of 16, he decided to move to Karachi after completing his Matric.
He joined the Pakistan Navy as a Sailor. His cricketing skills were recognized by his coach Azam Khan.
He started his cricketing journey at a young age and played at the domestic level for the Pakistan Navy. In 2012, he represented the Pakistan Navy in the International Defence Cricket Cup in Australia.
In 2013 Fakhar decided to leave the Navy to focus on his cricketing career. Fakhar impressed selectors by scoring runs in the 2016 Pakistan Cup, and Quaid Azam Trophy. After this performance, he got called up for National Side.
