He began his first-class career with Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited. He also played in the Quaid-e-Azam One-Day Cup for the same team. He did so well that he joined Central Punjab for the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy in 2019-20.
In the Pakistan Super League (PSL), Naseem was first picked by Quetta Gladiators in the 2019 edition.
