Jhulan Goswami was born on 25th November 1982 in a town called Chakdaha in West Bengal. As a kid, she loved playing football. But everything changed when she watched the Cricket World Cup on TV in 1992.
Jhulan comes from a simple and supportive family. Her father’s name is Nisith Goswami, and her mother is Jharna Goswami. They always encouraged her to follow her dreams.
Jhulan’s journey in cricket wasn’t easy. She started practicing hard and soon became known for her fast bowling skills. In 2002, she made her debut for the Indian women’s cricket team. She played her first Test match and One Day International (ODI) against England when She was just 19 years old.
