Rumman Raees started his cricket journey in 2010, making his mark in domestic cricket with the Karachi Blues. His impressive performances in the Quad-e-Azam Trophy caught the eye of selectors, this opened the way for his selection in the T20 format.

In 2016, Rumman was drafted into Islamabad United for the edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL). While he didn’t emerge as a prominent wicket-taker in his debut season, his economical bowling with a rate of 6.79 caught attention. The 2017 edition saw Rumman’s breakthrough with 12 wickets in 7 matches.
Despite facing an injury setback in the 2018 PSL season, Rumman Raees returned strong in the 2020 PSL 5 season, showcasing his skills with six wickets in six matches, including a stellar performance against Lahore Qalandars with figures of 3/29.
